What are the odds that chaosraven is DOR-15 and scanned Uncle Art Newcastle the first night?
Regardless, I've moved chaosraven off of my suspect list for obvious reasons, and can't see myself voting for him unless Lewis steps forward with some information. Right now I think theohall is our safest bet today. I'm going to withhold voting for him though, and give Lewis a chance to step forward if he has enough information. I'll make sure to check back in here sometime before I leave, and if Lewis hasn't made himself known then I'll register my vote.

Didn't we begin in daytime with a grounding of Lagom? If the scanner is allowed to scan OR kidnap, and scoop was informed of a success is protection, scanner (if the remaining evil) did not scan.

Yep, I sure was. Baddies could not have got a scan on Night One since they got blocked by me when attacking Remus and on Night Two they attacked and grounded Newcastle in lieu of a scan. Chaos could be faking Uncle Art but he would be gambling that Stessier was Uncle Art and chose not to announce it when he was grounded by vote or that Newcastle is Uncle Art.
I don't believe the baddie is informed of the secret role of a person the ground.

We should ask, of course.
Isgrimnur, Are the evil team told the exact role of their Kidnap Victim?
I'm down with testing Grund or Theohall.

Alright, well I'm on my way out the door and I'm not sure how much I'll be able to check in over the weekend. Right now here is where I stand:
My suspect list would be Theohall, Grund, and Qantaga. We can't assume that Chaos is telling the truth, but we can't ground him either. Same thing with Lassr, no matter how unlikely it is that he is our last bad guy.
Theohall

Damn, I thought about asking but ... good one, Unagi. That changes things greatly. Chaosraven could in fact be spoofing Uncle Art if Newcastle was his target last night.
Interesting...

If he's evil - big kudos for where and the manner in which he put his vote on Lagom.
The sober theohall is never a good sign though... Boredom being, I suppose, his only cover.

It depends. Do you think Chaos would claim a role and not point out that in fact he could be spoofing the role and hope we didn't think to check the rulez for if the baddie receives the role of their victim? Chaos is pretty thorough when he gets to his analysis yet he didn't point this critical point out. I was ignorant of it and didn't due my due diligance. Thanks to Unagi for being thorough. That's a goodie point in his favor and black mark against chaos.
Should we consider asking lewis to scan newcastle to verify Chaos isn't spoofing?
Issy, can Lewis scan a grounded player?

Initial DM fiat: Lewis can scan any player "still in the house". This would allow a scan of a grounded Robinson, but not a grounded, escaped baddie or a kidnapped player, as they are no longer co-located and accessible.

Just a thought, if Lewis does decided to announce himself and his scans then we must make him today's grounded vote which gives him the opportunity to pass the scanner to a known good player.
Since we haven't heard from Lewis I can assume that his scans aren't that useful today.

OK, as Theohall pointed out that isgrimnur pointed out - we actually cannot scan Newcastle, since he is 'kidnapped'.
Second though,
if we could, the whole plan hinged on using Lewis' scan tonight to pick between his Unknown#2 and Unknown#3... not to see if Newcastle was Uncle A.
That is just academic though, cause we can't scan Newcastle.

One of the things I did notice rereading was that msteelers placed his vote on Lagom at a time when I was the largest train and msteelers vote brought it into a tie. He could easily have placed a vote on me or anyone else without creating the difficulties for side Evil that Lagom's growing train presented.
Also, if Lewis has not scanned anyone from that subgroup then why would we not go after one of that subgroup and thus make it smaller?

I don't think Lewis is going to speak up. Unless its Grund and he hasn't read any of this yet, we should be voting someone tonight.
So, the question is is there someone I should be protecting tonight (perhaps Chaosraven) or should I self-protect?

I would let them take out myself or Chaosraven in favor of protecting someone you felt strongly may be Lewis. The down side of that is if you are correct and Lewis gets exposed the next day you won't be able to protect him that night. So you decide. If they take out any of {Scoop, Choasraven, Remus West} they are not making a move towards winning.
