It's a flag, and some quick research shows that the museum normally keeps it covered in black (which I find curious in and of itself, unless it is for preservation reasons.)

That makes me wonder about a recent convesation with my Dad. Turned into a Fox News acolyte, then Tucker/Trump lover I guess (though thankfully I've never seen him wear any of the cult garb, but I did come across a pic of him and Cucker on his phone (by accident! Wasn't snooping!).

Anyway, he is currently in the mid to late stages of selling about 30 acres of land to a developer...this has been in the works for several months already. Due to my Dad's age, I have been a bit worried that he is being taken advantage of, so I ask him occasionally how the deal is going. Apparently the buyer has already put down a deposit, had the land surveryed, "perk'd", etc. has been radio silent for about a month, which is weird because the attorney has been ready to close, waiting, etc. Doesn't answer texts from my Dad, and when he calls, the call goes to a full vm box.

Today I asked him if any news, and he said he finally got to talk to him. He's currently in Ukraine (apparently he's Ukrainian), helping family. I'm curious what my Fox News loving Dad thinks about that, and what that might do to the deal if he's been brainwashed by Tucker's Putin love.

If I didn't know that it would erupt into another horrible political conversation with him, I would just ask him outright how he feels about the Russia/Ukraine situation.
