Is anyone using this? Seems like a neat way to not buy expensive graphics cards but does need a good internet connection

Not tried it. I have tried Luna. Its Amazons version of it. Works fine. I can play both Avatar and SW Outlaws on Luna where I cant get them to load even on my own pc.

I tried it and it works great. You have to own the game in question (e.g. on Steam). When my PC was stuttering on high end games I sprung for the $20/month and it was well worth it. You can even play for an hour for free. When I got a new PC I didn't need it, but nice to know it is there.

I did subscribe to GeForce NOW last year. It's the only way I could play a lot of my Steam games as my only Windows computer is no longer. I started out with the free version and it seemed to work fine for me. I then moved up to the first paid version, I think it was called Priority and I liked having more than an hour to play and the wait times were essentially gone. There was a deal around September for 6 months of Ultimate for $49 so I jumped on that since I was paying $9.99 for the lower tier.

I'm really enjoying some of the recent games I could no longer play, plus it's the first time I'm playing at the highest resolution and quality. My connection is decent, 500 Mb down, 20mb up with an average ping of about 20ms. I'm using a MacBook Air with an Xbox controller without any issues. My current setting is for a maximum of 3456x2160 at 120fps and the estimated data usage is about 16GB an hour. There are a ton of settings for streaming quality and data consumption... you can even set it up for competitive gaming.

I like the session diagnostic reports showing network lag and how well the connection is. I had a short period of time where I had a lot of packet loss but that ended up being an issue with Xfinity.

I had an Xbox GamePass Ultimate subscription for a few months and was pleasantly surprised that I could connect my account and play some of the games on GeForce Now as well. My Epic Games account is connected too but I have to manually select my eligible games to play. Steam, Xbox, UbiSoft and Battle.net automatically sync my library of games so I have plenty of games to play. Cyberpunk, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Manor Lords, No Man's Sky all look fantastic. And I don't have to worry about graphic card driver updates or system updates. Not to mention playing almost immediately instead of waiting for it to download. Although a drawback I guess would be waiting for GeForce Now to patch games.

Thanks for the information. I may give it a go just to see if it is dramatically different to have, what should be, better graphics
