Nvidia 6600 GT AGP (when?)

This card really seems like the card to get on a budget, blowing away other cards in its price range, and even then some.
Its been a long time since I stayed up on hardware news. I was wondering if anyone knew when we would see the 6600 GT in AGP format? Currently, its only availalble as PCI-Express. If you don't know when, where would you find out? What sites do you use for hardware news?
Thanks,
-Mike

Before Christmas is what I've been hearing. Other than "soon".

A guy I work with got to see a 6600 PCI-X and AGP side by side running games.
According to him, the speed difference was dramatic. The PCI-X version might be a good deal at $200, but there could very well be better AGP offerings for that price. I imagine that disparity is what is accounting for the delay.

PCI-X is not the same thing as PCI-Express.
As I understand it, current video cards are already not limited by current 8X bandwidth (note the little difference between AGP 4x and AGP 8x -- bandwidth is not a major issue) so there shouldn't be much difference in performance going to PCI-Express x16 until video cards come out that can actually use all that bandwidth. That is not to say that something isn't screwy with the Nvidia implementation if they are kludging their PCI-Express design into an AGP setup and losing performance.
Here's a reference article for PCI-Express:
