How long has it been since we've done a greatest game ever..

I think it's been like three years since we've done the best ever thread perhaps it's time to do single round playoff eliminations again. We can seed the top games by having everyone post their top 10 and then have them duke it out game by game.

So to start, any PC game, any genera, any time. Give me your top 10 in no particular order. For the sake of simplicity treat series or members of a series as a single game.

Heros of Might and Magic
X Wing
Diablo
SMAC
XCom
Starcraft
Autoduel (though I never owned the PC version)
Masters of Magic
Masters of Orion (2 obviously)
Ultima (specifically IV for me)

EDIT:

I should probably put a time limit on this. Lets try and get our favorites in by Sunday evening. People don't go much more than a week without checking up, I don't think.

I don't get what you mean by "treat members of a series as a single game." Like, Baldur's Gate and BG2 are both members of a series, but I'd definitely rate one much higher than the other. Same with Deus Ex.
