How is GoGamer about returns/replacements?

Post by Papageno »

I ask because I just got my copy of Thief Deadly Shadows, and CDs 2 and 3 were loose in the case and pretty banged up. I haven't tried to install yet, but one of the scratches on one of the disks is the dreaded "groove" type that are the most damaging.

Anyway, I'll check this all out later and let you all know how it goes.

i received a copy of Tony Hawk 2 that was obviously 'pre-owned' - the disc was poorly resurfaced. it took them forever to pull the exchange through, and i was out shipping (when i had to send it back to them).

They sent me a copy of A World at War, and the box and instructions were mauled. They did nothing about it; after several phone calls, all I got was, "It must have been the post office."

Yeah, you sold me the fucker, it didn't hit my door in new or like new condition, I don't care why, take care of it. I did not receive the product I paid for. I hate companies that pull that shit.

I'm not sure whose responsibility it is but you could take it up with the post office, most items under $50 are insured by the post office by default (media mail may be exempt...).

Well, I installed the game fine, so I guess it turned out OK.

Cool. I just got my copy from the madness sale today (though they did try to deliver yesterday)! I think I'll check the discs to see whether any were dislodged.

All 3 disks in my copy of Thief: Deadly Shadows (from the same sale) were dislodged, but they all installed perfectly.

Mine were all in place. With the DVD case and the notches on the center spindles, I'm surprised y'all had them get loose. Glad they worked okay for you, though.

My GoGamer-bought copy had a loose Disc 1. It works, though.
