GG Platinum Award

I just got the Conquest 6 Pack value pack in the mail. On the box it lists the 6 game it contains and has little icons for the awards that the games won. Well the one icon Patrician II has is the "GG Platinum Award." I was shocked to see that. I thought that game came out after GG's front page was pretty much dead.
GG's legend lives on!

No, GG teamed up with the guys who did Chrome for something or another. If I remember correctly is wasn't well received.

Oh yeah, I remember now. I didn't mind it that much, Bill was just trying to get some cash flow is all.

Gone Gold Review of Patrician II
I didn't even remember that Gone Gold gave out Platinum awards. I only remember that the ratings used to be Fool's Gold, Unrefined Ore, Gold Nugget, and Pure Gold. How would Octopus Overlords rate games if we ever did reviews? Maybe something like Giant Squid, Fried Calamari, Suckers Only, etc.

yup, by tentacles, and oddly enough the better a game is, the more it would suck.

Coincidentally, I had octopus last night. Not bad, but kinda chewy. I give it ~ ~ ~ ~ ~.
