Just as the topic says.
Could I make a laptop a monitor for my PC? If so, how?
I need to set something up that isn't so space consuming, but only temporarily (So no going out and buying a flat panel).
Is it possible to use a laptop as a monitor?

There isn't a simple, easy, cheap way of doing it but it can be done.
