Games like Urban Dead

Post by Hrnac »

Since I enjoy my daily sessions with the game Urban dead so much, I began to wonder if there are any sililar type games floating around out there.

I am more interested in the style of game and not necessarily the specific game storyline. Has anyone seen more of these neat browser based games?

a few years back I got hooked on Ferion along with my roommate and some of our friends. It's a very fun game, but we started to shy away from it once we realized we were running to the computer labs at college between classes just to put our moves in all the time.

It looks like they've done a lot of work with it since then, but I'm too worried about becoming too attached to go back.

http://www.mpogd.com/ is a great way to find out about different brower based games.

I just decided to start up a new account for The reincarnation. You manage a nation, create armies, and attack other nations. Take turns about once every day or every other day depending on the server. I played it a few years back but it might be hard to get going as a newbie. Server resets in a few days...

I like that there's a whole lot of content, but I found the combat to be soooo tedious (made it to ~ level 15). Maybe if they halved or quartered monster and player hit points it would be more enjoyable for me, but as it stands I found fights to take way too long.

Agreed. However, compared to when there weren't character classes, at least the combat is more tactical now. I rarely play it for long - maybe a couple of battles at lunch.

As previously mentioned, Kingdom of Loathing is very good. I used to play Cybots and Dragon Court quite a bit as well:
