EB PC preowned <$14.99 @ B&M 75% off (Sale Over?)

Signs still said 35% off but prices rang up at 50% off.
Also, many prices on stickers are wrong - eg. Iron Storm was stickered at $13 - price check said it was now $6 - Paid $3.
Edit - PC preowned - I don't know about consoles
2nd Edit
- Title edit
- These deals are at Brick and Mortar - I don't know about online.
- At my store, only the first item rang up at 70% off today (11/22), so the friendly clerk offered to ring up my four items in four separate transactions.
3rd Edit
- Checked at two stores today and both said sale is over.
4th Edit
- See wankerjr's post below - 70% off

Yeah, I saw that last night when I went to pick up Bloodlines. Some really tempting titles in there.

Just a warning, the system has not yet been updated to reflect the 75% off as of closing of business today. We had to manually up the discount from 50% to 75% to get it to work. If you have an Edge discount card you can use that on top of this as well.
Finally got around to gettting the 2 MOH expansions for a whopping $3.60 after tax

Ah, I hate this board! No, I love it! No, I hate it!
As I am out of work I am trying not to buy any games, but 75% off? We had an EB open up right around the corner about a month ago, and it it's in a strip mall, so I don't think its gets too much traffic yet. They had a nice bin of PC stuff and the 75% sign up. I decided I would allow myself $10 worth of happiness.
Here's what I got:
Myst Masterpiece
Riven
Myst III
Hitman (original)
NOLF 2
The Sims (original)
Total: $10.24
All of those were just in jewelcases, but they had some stuff in boxes. Among those, Max Payne 2 ($2 - I would have gotten it, but I'm not sure how good it would run on my laptop) and Baldur's Gate 2 ($3, which is unfortunate since I just got it for $7, but at least I got the big box instead of the little one). Saw lots of other stuff in jewelcases as well like Total Annihilation, MOH expansions, Tie Fighter, Alice, Medieval: TW, Sims expansions, etc.

Tell them to go into their email screen and go to Promotions and look under the Pre-Played Promotions. The deal isn't listed correctly in there (it states 70% off when all the materials they sent say 75% off) but it is there.

i went to the EBGames in Redmond, WA... and i bought 'a few' games:
Deus Ex: Invisible War
Galactic Civilizations
Arx Fatalis
Close Combat trilogy ($0.37 is sorta hard to pass up...)
No One Lives Forever 2
Divine Divinity
Harbinger
Project Eden
for the munificent sum of $15.02
unfortunately no Max Payne 2 - that would've come out to be about $2 or so!!! if anyone can grab that for me, i'd be highly appreciative.
anyone have any requests? i'm likely going back tomorrow.... PM me. there were a *ton of games there.

That's okay. I have about 4 or 5 EB's in driving distance (20 mile radius) so I'll check on a few of them tomorrow after I finish my morning chores...

I just picked up RRT3 and Lord of the Realm 3 for about $3.60 a piece in box. They had a lot at the EB by me and a lot for cheap, but not much with boxes or docuementation at that kind of cheap. I'm happy with what I got and it spawned me to pay the whole $49.99 for Pirates. (ouch!)

Conveniently, I just picked up Max Payne 2 for about $2. Since I'll probably never get around to playing it, send me your address and I'll mail it to you.

Here's my haul:
Iron Storm
Enclave
NOLF 2
Vampire:Redemption
Max Payne 2
Dungeon Siege
Total $11.26 w/tax
Pretty cool for a bunch of fence-sitter games...

Ack! My girlfriend sent me to buy something at the mall and they have another EB there. I couldn't resist.
This time:
Unreal Gold
Medal of Honor AA
Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis
Rainbow 6 3 (full box)
Total: 4.50
I was kind of hoping to find some RPGs, but they seemed to be heavy on the FPS. Both places had Pool of Radiance, tho. Doesn't that game erase your hard drive or something?

First EB I went to had put away their pre-owned PC Games section as they're a VERY small store. *sucks!*
Went to a different (much further store by 15 miles) and picked up some classics and some not-so-classics...
Grim Fandango, marked $9.99
Dungeon Keeper (1), marked $7.99
Freedom Fighters, marked $4.99
Racing Games 5-pack, marked $1.99
For the heck of it, I picked up the third Halo novel there for $6.99. Total comes out to be... less than $15. He-he-he.

I'm going to a nice, big EB in Appleton hopefully tomorrow. Wheee! Ours in Sheboingboing doesn't have much, but I could have picked up Republic for 4.00 and Freedom Fighters for 3.00.

Ahh, the memories
No, it didn't do it 'post-patch'
....but what it did do, was trick you into thinking that it was the perfect game for the first hour of play.
Then the s-l-o-w-d-o-w-n starts
What a shame, it had such promise.

HA!
I showed that EB in Appleton who's boss!
7 games for a total of 12.99!
My haul:
Ghost Recon
Dungeon Siege
Delta Force (for .37 cents!

)
Age of Empires II
Iron Storm
Splinter Cell (!)
Republic: The Revolution
Wow!
That was great!

Actually according to the POS promotions the sale is still going on until the end of the year but it is only now 70% off.

I hate the EB where I'm at. I went there TWICE. Asked them TWICE about the 75% off sale. And still I get no discount. The last time I went the cashier said that the prices were ALREADY DISCOUNTED (which of course was completely impossible. Shogun isn't 26 bucks used). It was incredibly busy so I didn't push the issue, just apologized for having him dig through the used stuff for so long.
Drives me buck nutty. And they had RRT3 too. Cripes. I checked another EB during Black Friday but by then I just lost all enthusiasm for digging through non-labeled CD cases.

The second EB I went to claim that used PC Games are just buy two get one free, and I had to remind them of the 70% off deal.
Would be funny if I tried to make them give me both deals at the same time.

SH, the POS system should not be controlled locally, so they should ring up correctly. If you don't see the price you like, then you simply say "nevermind" and appologize for their effort.
