MS Word question

This ought to be really simple, but half an hour digging through Office help didn't help. The MS Word menu bar includes a dropdown box that lets me apply heading levels in my document. It only shows headings 1-3, although there are 9 headings defined. I cannot for the life of me apply any headings below level 3. Where can I tell Word to show all available heading levels in the dropdown?

I have Office 2000.

To view all styles in the Style box on the Formatting toolbar, hold down SHIFT as you click the arrow in the Style box.

To view all styles in the Style dialog box (Format menu, Style command), click All styles in the List box.

Also if your version of Word has the Task Pane on the right (ctr + F1) it has an option to manage & apply all the various styles on a page. I'm using Word 2003 but I'm prety sure that was in Word XP too.
