I keep getting quite angry watching or reading the news. It seems that, in presenting 2 sides to a story, the media has gotten good at disguising one side as two-sided.
I think this has a lot to do with how politicians discuss policy. For example, Kerry's plan in Iraq is almost the same as Bush's, but Kerry says "we'll get our allies back." Bush says "we're training Iraqis to defend themselves," while Kerry says "we need to train Iraqis to defend themselves."
As somebody who is anti-war, I can't help but feel Kerry is missing the entire point of Bush fucking up.
