Video Conference/Chat Options? (not happy with AIM)

Post by Tscott »

My parents got a Logictech Orbit Quick Cam for Christmas from my sister and her husband so they can go online and talk over video and see my new 4 month old niece, Audrey. My Brother-in-law and I have been working on getting it working today and we installed AIM which is compatible with IChat (what his mac uses). The main trouble is I don't see an option to change the video size in AIM- my parents would prefer something bigger than the tiny picture that AIM defaults to (IChat on the other hand lets you go full screen and everything in between).

Is there something for XP (not too expensive, and free would be great) that someone could recommend that might have the ability to resize the picture and be able to connect with a mac on the other end? I thought of trying MSN Messenger, but the mac version didn't have the option for video according to my brother-in-law.

Yahoo messenger? That has video chat built in. I have no idea whether that would work on the Mac end, though.
