So, for Xmas, my wife looks for games on EBay for me. Dawn of War, cheap - shipped from Asia. Hmmm... fishy, but the seller has over a 7,000 rating w/ over 98% positive, give it a shot. She goofs and gets 2 copies of Dawn of War. Got it from Malaysia (w/ 2day fed ex shipping costs included, got both for about 40$). The seller is apparently assosciated with www.neweraonline.com (it's a sticker on the box that I didn't open). This is apparently a distributor (for 10 years) in the Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand area.
This is a legal copy. It has a valid online CD key (I installed the game and got into the lobby, didn't actually start a game yet).
It plays in English (all the speech/words) and has 2 manuals (one English, the other I'm assuming Malaysian). Has 3 CDs (required all 3 to install). The unit cheat sheet extras are in Malaysian, does not include English versions. Brand new (the seller said they were sealed, but I didn't find them to be sealed or taped, but they do seem to have every thing). The 3 CD's come in a single, normal size jewel case (2 are on one piece). Has all the appropriate looking cards, pictures on the CDs, etc.
I'm assuming that (other than the Malaysian manual and unit sheets, and wording on the box), that this game is identical to the US copy. If someone knows otherwise, please let me know (if nothing else, I'm curious).
I state all of this because, coming from Asia, I thought there was a fairly high chance this was some pirated copy or something, but it is not.
Sorry for the long story, but wanted to be crystal clear on the background so there were no surprises for anyone who might want this.
That being said, I got it for $20, and am only asking for $20 (plus whatever the shipping costs to whoever buys it are - I'll ship it however you want to pay for- flat rate, no "handling charges") for any one who wants it.
As opposed to cash, I would consider a trade for Rome: Total War, or NWN DVD Platinum edition.

FYI: although I have no posts here, I was on the GG forums, mostly in the DOW beta posts (Zenn7/Mack5 during the beta), wrote several lengthy posts, many covering the virtues of stealth and why Destroy HQ was my favorite (and the worst to use) victory condition in the game. Never traded before, but my wife has a 251 feedback rating on ebay, all 100% positive (lillyzmom) if that helps provide you with a little more security that I'm being honest.
