Cannot save as jpg

Post by dbt1949 »

Ever since the latest "critical" MS updates I cannot save as jpg.It only lists .bmp. This problem is on both my computers running the latest Win XP.
I do not have AOL.
I can go and change the .bmp to a .jpg after I have saved it.
After much troubleshooting and searching MS support I found out how to save as .jpg or .bmp on removable flash devices but cannot find a way for the C drive to do it.
I'm sure it's just a adjustment somewhere but where?
Thanks!

Empty your IE cache. Should be in your IE Menu Tools - Internet Options - Delete Temporary Files (I think that's the right one to fix this little glitch).

This just happened to me today. But instead, all I can save pictures as is in Quicktime format.

I emptied both IE and Mozilla cache, but it didn't work.

Any other suggestions?
