Here I am, all excited, even with the media blackout. Some of the rumor sites are going to try to punch through, give a proper play by play. Apple's never put security in place like this before. Either they're sick of the spin being done before Steve's speech is over, or Jobs is pissed that all his big surprises leaked....

Should this even be in General Computing? Maybe General Ipoding or Ituning.
Oh, and I think ThinkSecret already
broke one of the major announcements (cheap desktop PC and Apple office suite).

No doubt! And the ten minutes was a long time ago, so what is Apple up to this year?

So far they've announced:
Final Cut Express HD, a $299 HD-capable video editing package with LiveType and Soundtrack.
No relaese date for Mac OS X Tiger.
iLife '05. New versions of iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, GarageBand.
iWork. Keynote (presentation) and Pages (word processing) applications.
Hardware always comes last. So far, this has all been predited stuff. Chances for an iPod Shuffle and iMac Mini are looking a bit better than 50/50.

Nothing like a lawsuit to give credence to a rumor. That's what ThinkSecret had (well at least the concept and price, don't know about the specs).
HD video editing is interesting. File type compatability is a big question mark though.

Yeah, Think Secret hit all their points this year. Nick DePlume is the new god of the Mac community.

Damn you americans! US Price for Mini Mac with DVDRW and wireless blah blah blah is £409 UK Price is £559 that's a huge difference. At £409 it is almost a no brainer, at £559 it needs a bit of saving up.

We actually get them free because Steve Jobs is an American.
