Just picked up one of these bad boys... Maxtor 250GB, SATA150, 16mb cache, NCQ... For $149.
Last week they had an Athlon64 3200+ retail and a DFI Lanparty NForce3 250 Pro board for $289...
I love that place.

Isn't Fry's like Wal-mart? Anything returned they put right back on the shelf? Thought I read some bad stuff about them a while back.

Most stuff returned is put back on the shelf, but not everything. Most people buy to try and return it.
Everything that has been returned is clearly marked, and often at a small discount. They also take returns on previously returned items.
The pay is minimum, but the benefits are decent.

They give you hell when you try to return something too.

From stories I've heard, I would *never* purchase a hard drive from Fry's. They seem to not comprehend the idea behind non-op shock.
Admittedly, the worst of the stories were relayed to me about five years ago, so they may have changed their policies since then.

What about Fry's rocks?
Don't have Frys around here but I'm perfectly happy with Newegg.
