MX700 acting strange

This is hard to explain so it may not make much sense hehe. I have a MX700 mouse. Been using it for nearly 2 year just fine. The batteries are fine also. Lately it seems to double click a lot when I just single click. Its like instant double click. And in my shooters sometimes when I hold the left button down to fire my automatic rifles it will either shoot a few rounds and stop or just sputter. Gets me killed a lot. Ive tried resetting it by using the connect buttons on it to re synch it but nothing has helped. Im wondering if the button is wearing out already or if something is interfering with it somehow.
