DVD making software

Does anyone know of any good dvd making software. I would like to take some of my videos and make dvd’s that I can play on a dvd player. I already have a card that I can capture the video. Price is a factor in this, so a good cheap or free program would be the best.

Nerovision Express is the one I've used. It's really, really simple to use and the outcome is quite nice as well.

I too would like to hear some alternatives, especially some options with more customization (which Nero sadly falls a little short on)

I haven't tried to convert tape video to DVD yet but that is one of the reasons I got a standalone DVD recorder I just have never got around to doing it yet.

I'd like to throw out my request for some software that lets you convert Flash to something that can be recorded and then played on a regular standalone DVD player. I tried a demo of something called Canapus Procoder2 but it said there was something wrong with my flash file, it would convert the Windows Media files for me though.
