the color cartridge tray on my Canon BJC-6000 refuses to be recognized by the printer - according to the manual, it's 'worn out'. a replacement one costs $45 - i had another BJC-6000 and i'm kicking myself for not scavenging the trays from that one before throwing it away.
anyways, i'm pretty sick of dealing with inkjet printers (Canons, Lexmarks, Epsons, etc) and their stupid cartridges that dry up after not using them for more than a month. failing finding a replacement part for this one, i believe that i'm ready to get a cheap-ish laser printer. does anyone have one? if not, i'll take an inkjet (with full inktanks).
need a printer!

I have a place nearby that had Laserjet IV's for like $60 or so. They had some newer models too, including one of those Mopiers.
The problem with laser is toner costs, but at least you only buy one every couple months, not every couple weeks.
