Lookin for PC100 RAM

Post by setaside »

I'm trying to upgrade a PC for a friend and am looking to get some more RAM for it. Anybody have 2 256mb modules of PC100 RAM they're willing to part with? The machine currently only has 128mb of RAM so anything is an upgrade really but I'm hoping to ultimately get to 512 since that's the max the machine will take.

I've got some stuff for trade on my list but will be glad to do a cash trade if needed. Please PM with details. Thanks.

If all else fails, I have a couple of PC100s: 128MB and a 32MB.

I have a 512mb stick of PC-133 RAM. You should be able to run it as PC-100 without difficulty.

Would that work?

Cool, If I'm unable to track down 512, I'll get back with you.

Unfortunately, I don't think this MB takes 512 sticks. I'll double check on that though. Thanks.
