Guess what I found via Google... a bit of my own history!

And you're wondering how is this related to gaming?

The history is about MicroProse's implosion in 1996. I mean the ORIGINAL MicroProse, BEFORE they got taken over by Hasbro and Infogrames (and Atari, whatever).

At the time, I started gathering information and organized them on a webpage. I ended up debating with a more... professional journalist working for CNET's Gamecenter... and you can read the rest yourself.

HA! That's great stuff, Kasey. Way to give the smackdown to CNet! Any idea where this guy is now?

That's pretty cool that Reynolds would forward you the press release on Firaxis, that's a little bit of firsthand PC game history!

Here's another fun tidbit...

A bit of trivia... Gilman Louie, CEO of Spectrum HoloByte (later MicroProse) later left the company and became the front man for a venture cap company backed by the CIA. (yes, our CIA).
