Star Wars WW - Sign Up

Post by bb2112 »

Ruleset will be determined once we know the number of players. I am not sure if we will get enough people that would be interested, but if so, we do have a couple of things to note.

That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

I would be willing to do it if others want. It adds a weird dynamic to the game because now people are trying to guess who would be picked. Not sure if that is a help or a hinderance.

Well. I was thinking of a role who has an incentive to pass information around to further his/her ends but does not win with either team. Maybe secret goals that they only know. Not sure of the mechanic yet.

I just sent some PM's to several people to see if they would like to join. I will most likely work on the ruleset over the next few days and have something up early next week after we see what the final player count will be. Would like to get started by mid to late next week.

Any thoughts on NC's suggestion on team bad picking its partners? We could even possibly do team good and team bad choosing the roles...

So I PM'd:

Chaosraven -Not Responded
Zarathud -Not Responded
Grundbegriff -Not Responded
Isgrimnur -No
Stessier - No
Lord Mortis - No
Archinerd - No

Not getting a good very good percentage of positive responses. I thought about including Lagom Lite, but he doesn't like Star Wars and he rage quitted WW on OO anyway.

That's fine with me. Would also fit well with the theme - Alpha Wolf is Palpatine and Alpha villager is Yoda (say), and they train apprentices (pick their teams).

Though I suppose it would have to be team bad picking who the wolves are, then RNG picking who the specials are, then Yoda (Villager Prime) assigning roles from the predetermined list of specials. Though Yoda would then be able to act from the beginning with knowledge of who all the specials are...not sure if that's too big an edge or not.

I guess I'm leaning towards only team bad getting to pick their team.

yea, Yoda picking specials would be too powerful. He could come out first day and just name all the specials narrowing the field down instantly. I'm fine with the Empire picking their players since they start off knowing each other.
