Twitch/Amazon free PC games

If you have Amazon Prime you get free Twitch Prime. Twitch is a streaming service, but they give away some good stuff, including games and skins for Fortnite, etc. They had some decent free stuff that I had on my Steam wishlist. As far as Prime, if you don't want to pay full price and have access to an .edu account, you can get half price student Prime. Which is pretty much the same.

This month's games are pretty amazing for the low price of free. May be worth a monthly update.

makes me wonder if they're going to eventually make the "Twitch marketplace" a Steam competitor. i don't know of any other digital storefront that could compete with Amazon's briberyfinancial backing.

If you are looking to play any of the Wizardry titles, note that only 8 has been redone/remastered for modern machines. I tried playing 7 the other day, and while I loved that game when it came out, it did not age well (I don't know of any game made at that time that did) in terms of playability/graphics and UI.

Wiz 8 however, is fantastic, looks and plays great, and I plan to play it through for the 3rd (and last time). Anyone that hasn't played it and is considering: VERY tough, grindy, old school party based RPG, but IMO one of, if not the best of the genre. Absolutely love that game. As a kind of time stamp for the game: this is one of those where you will spend AT LEAST an hour or more, just creating your party.

I think you can get the games currently available that month, but not previous months.

With all of the games I have, Twitch has still managed in the past few months to give me 16 games I didn't have in Steam, several of which were on my wish list to buy. That's so weird to me.
