Bigger venue = more tickets. They won't say how many more though. We'll get the number November 23rd.

It finally sold out a month and a half later. One of my friends from work snagged a ticket so you shouldn't have to babysit me the whole time you are there.

Sellout time has varied widely over the years, from 2 hours to 6 weeks. Last year was closer to 6 weeks as they moved to a new location that could accommodate many more attendees. The real challenge for out of towners is getting a room. The hotel sells out very fast. If you really want to make sure you get a room, premium badge holders get first access to hotel rooms, if there are any premium badges available to newcomers. Premium badge priority is given based on previous purchase of premium badges. Also they cost $400 vs the already kind of high $150 of the regular badges.

They moved to a much bigger hotel last year so there'll be at least a week to sign up. Or you can do what I did and wait til two weeks before and grab a ticket and a hotel room. It does work but it takes some sleuthing to find people who still want to sell their ticket and/or give their hotel reservation to someone else.
