What will you be playing this weekend 04/15 - 04/17 ?

Post by Goonch »

Believe it or not I will be playing Baldur's Gate:The Original Saga which I started about 2 weeks ago after repurchasing it. I had the original release back in 1998  I either traded it away or sold it after putting it to the side, uncompleted of course

With time permitting, I will probably play some Soldiers:Heroes of WW2 LAN coop with my oldest son. That is always a blast.

Into the mix, maybe some Gamecube time with my younger son and daughter from their collection of Mario Party 4,5,6, Shrek 2, Mario Kart, Mario Golf, etc, etc, etc,

How about you guys? What's on your schedule?

(By the way, all of the above playtime will be crammed in between doing chores and completing home improvement projects)

I'll be playing the 'let's get drunk and try and get laid though not always in that order' game. Other than that, Morrowind and Out of the Park Baseball 6. Hopefully some Savage if we can get enough OOers interested and our own server.

Morrowind and Silent Hunter 3 for me. Perhaps an hour of Dungeon Siege, for some reason I reinstalled that the other night and it wasn't as bad as I remember. Not really hooked like I am on the other two games, of course, but it will be nice when I want to take a break and just hit the H and M keys.

Sunday is my birthday, I'm sure to get some new games. Yay! Pretty sure I'll be getting KOTOR2, so I'm sure to be playing that come Sunday night, assuming I can get the party over with as quickly as possible and start on the fun stuff. ;)

Same games I've been playing for quite a while, City of Heroes and MVP Baseball 2005. I might try out Freedom Force too, haven't opened it since I got it from Kelric a while back.

Jade Empire. (It's in my computer bag so I won't forget it this time) Savage when we get an OO game together. Even if it's just for a few duels. ;)

I've got a weekend pass to Guild Wars. Might try to finish Thief: Deadly Shadows (I'm at the Haunted Orphanage). Probably some City of Heroes to round it out.
Maybe next year, maybe no go

my gaming time for the weekend will go to Silent Hunter III and UT2K4. SHIII is starting to get even more interesting now that it's a little later in the war, i have a better sub, and i'm being sent into more dangerous waters 8)

EverQuest 2 mostly, though I'm going to try to finish Half Life 2 (it still crashes on my every 10-15 minutes, which is why I haven't beat it yet), and knock out a few more missions in SWAT 4.

I really want to play Jade Empire, but I know there's just no way in hell I'm going to sit in front of the TV playing Xbox when I could be leveling my Berserker.

Hopefully Disciples 2 will arrive tomorrow, so it'll be that. Otherwise, Silent Hunter 3 and I'll be trying to get to grips with Starshatter.

Just finished Freedom Force earlier this week, so I'm officially between games. I had HoMM III in the drive to (re)install for like the fourth time last night, but I stopped myself at the last moment. The hard drive is defragged in that PC, however, so I'm ready for *something*.

A little bit of Swat 4 and Jade empire to go with my weekend EQ2 addiction.

When confronted with offensive TV, the fundamental differences between the Conservative and liberal factions becomes blatantly obvious. Conservatives will piss and moan, then file a complaint with the FCC in an attempt to make sure the offending show is never seen by anyone. Liberals... well we just change the damn channel.

I'll continue on with SWAT 4. Maybe try to finish the campaign there and get a few multiplayer games in.

If the Savage thing goes through, I'll probably hop in there as well.

I also need to reinstall Freedom Force vs The Third Reich but I'm not sure I'll get to that this weekend.

Out of the Park Baseball 6 solo league.

I've got to find a way to get my 2005 Royals out of the cellar. Improving the worst pitching staff in the league would be a start.

Far Cry. If the wife swipes the computer to play Zoo Tycoon 2, I'll be playing Halo 2 on the xbox.

There is supposed to be some "sneak peak" released for the HL2 expansion. If that's a demo, single level, or something playable, I'll be all over that.

Busy weekend for me. I'll be putting the finishing touches on my SWAT 4 Campaign in SP, Playing some co-op with some OOers (Hopefully) and maybe some public VIP. I'll keep plugging away at Silent Hunter III, prowling the atlantic in search of something REALLY big to destroy, and I just picked up Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, so I'll probably start that too.

Are you in my head or something?!?

I'm playing SWAT4 and would like to get some Silent Hunter III in as well since I just upgraded to a Type VII-B sub. And when I was ordering SWAT4, there was a sale at Gogamer on Splinter Cell Chaos Theory so I picked that up as well.

Yes, Caveman, some of us aren't vampires and can thrive in the sunlight! :P

I plan on getting in over 100 miles on the bike this weekend (started with 25 after work today). Tomorrow, a friend of mine is having a cookout followed by a poker game.

I'll be out enjoying the great weather this weekend during the day, but after the kiddies are in bed ... I don't know. I just finished Anachronox and have no idea what I will fire up for the hour or two I have before bedtime.

Candidates so far include:
World at War (a new purchase),
NWN Kingmaker,
Spellforce,
BG Dark Alliance on GC or GBA,
some Rise of Nations fritterring
or getting serious about
Pirates!

Last night, after putting in some time with Baldur's Gate, I downloaded & installed the Riddick demo. It's pretty good.

I will play the Riddick demo some more tonight after the kiddies are tucked away in their beds 8)
