And the explanation for why vampires prefer the blood of virgins made me spit up my drink when I saw the movie. We're werewolves, not swearwolves!
I originally tuned in just to watch Matt Berry, but the rest of the cast is equally as good. Nadja is probably my favorite of the bunch. She can make literally any line hilarious, simply by her facial expressions.hepcat wrote: Wed Jul 28, 2021 12:43 pm This show would be about 10 times less funnier without this ensemble though. They elevate everything, no matter how cheesy, to comedy gold.
Not very often that a trailer makes me literally LOL, but that one did.
After watching the clip about Clem Fandango quite a while ago, I started to watch the whole series. I certainly appreciate his comedic style, and that particular scene had me almost bawling, but the show as a whole didn’t grab me. Maybe it was the writing, dunno.hepcat wrote: Sat Aug 14, 2021 3:11 pm It’s all Matt Berry and it’s all brilliant.
If “Yes I can hear you, Clem Fandango” isn’t in your lexicon after a couple of episodes, then you’re not human.
OMG that's great! I'd assumed it was dubbing.Smoove_B wrote: Sun Sep 05, 2021 12:41 pm The whole cloak of duplication gag - I didn't realize they didn't dub voices, it was the actor that plays Nandor actually doing imitations of his fellow cast members!
All that was missing is a "who does Number Two work for?"hepcat wrote: Mon Sep 06, 2021 11:00 pm It was completely juvenile and low brow, but I giggled like a loon at Guillermo repeatedly making Nandor talk about his number two.![]()
