So.. Conan Exiles in a slightly different desert?

I just hope it isn't a movie tie in/cash grab. The graphics are fantastic, I have to say. But who knows if that's actual in-game stuff.

Granted I'm using a 970 so I'm playing older games, but there's no way that is gameplay, right? That has the look of a rendered vid.

You are mostly wondering if there is a slider to determine the size of your sand worm aren't you?

You don't have to use euphemisms. I want a girth slider. If my character is not seriously in danger of tripping on his giant hog while charging into battle, I feel like the developers have failed. If they can also add in the ability to have my clothes literally explode off my body while fighting stuff? Well...that's just icing on the Conan colored cake.

What about beating a sandworm with death with a monkey or whatever your weapon of choice is?

Don't be ridiculous. It was beating a horse to death with a monkey. Beating a sandworm to death with a monkey? That's just nonsense.

After you beat the horse to death with the monkey, you'd upgrade your weapon. You'd use the horse to beat the sandworm to death.

I'll wait for the immersive VR version where you have to drink your own pee.

Can you dye pubes? Because CYBERPUNK 2077 really set a bar that I don't want to walk back from.

Pube dyeing is really only found in the Brian Herbert knockoff books.

They are really saving on the environment textures.

IGN showcases 10 games from Gamescom. I wasn't really impressed by anything. The narrator annoyed me from the start by saying the guy was fighting the sandworm in the Dune trailer when anyone with half a brain knows he is just getting a ride.

I assume so, since Emperor Muad'Dib controls Dune entirely and commands whole armies of Fremen.

So Eskimos have 50 words for snow. Do Fremen have 50 words for sand? Will the game actually capture the beauty of the 50 different types of sand?

I don't know if I am ready to experience an MMO with such a large variety of desert environments. I don't have the latest video card with the 320 bit memory to get enough shades of brown.

I love Dune, but an MMO just seems dry.

I hope I'm not the only one who keeps seeing this as Dude: Awakening. I can't unsee it whenever I scroll by it.

I was expecting to see Ashton Kutcher and it say "Dude wheres my worm?"
