Octopus Overlords

I have a text chain that I want to save to a PDF or similar program. Is there a way to do that without just cutting and pasting screenshots?

I'm using a Pixel 6 Pro.

From what I can tell, that backs up the conversations but doesn't let me read or print them. I found Droid Transfer, but it's pretty pricey at $30 (this is likely to be a one time use).

If you have a pretty recent Android you should be able to enable Messages for Web on your PC if it's paired with your PC.

Once you got it, you can print the entire chain to PDF, or use a multi-screen screenshot tool like Awesome Screenshot to capture it, THEN export it.
