That was a bad move by Remus. Unless he's the berzerker wolf, in which case it's extraordinary - he got everyone outed except the Hunter, who thankfully chose to stay quiet.

Because of recent events, it was with a heavy heart that the village woke to the celebrate the Festival of Fathers. Those hearts only got heavier as it was noticed that Qantaga was missing. A search of his hovel confirmed what everyone had come to dread.
Once more the town assembled in the square to begin the vote. Would the luck of the first day return?
Villagers - Who will you lynch today?
Hunter - on whom will you pass your judgement?
Medium - with whom will you speak?
There are 14 villagers alive. The deadline for the lynch vote is Monday, July 1st at 11am Eastern time (please check my math).

I was not expecting Qantaga to be their choice at all.
I think if he wasn't the Hunter, and Remus has a scan that's not him - we are likely to have our numbers locked in, right?

Qantaga?
They must have been really scared of hitting the protected player. Newcastle was not the seer so that pretty much verifies Remus unless the real seer is playing along with him for some reason.

I would guess he wasn't the Hunter either, as the Furbies seem to be looking for one.
(Logic: killing Special if Hunter known to be dead, rather than working thru Unknown Pile)

Newcastle was a villager. No point in keeping this hidden since the wolves already know.

Interesting that the wolves went looking for the Hunter, since it reduced the number in which they could hide, unless someone is not being honest about his role.

Unless they were looking for the seer, but I see you covered that option in what you said. I'm really curious what Remus will have to say. I'm sorta tending to think he's good, but I will admit that I've got some doubts. Another interesting thought that comes to mind is that the wolves may have another problem - if they avoided both the obvious protection choices today (Remus, Triggercut) they should have no idea of which one was protected - so they might be in the same boat tonight as to not knowing who to go after. If they do shoot blindly tonight, and Remus isn't the seer, I really hope the real seer will step forward tomorrow (today maybe, but tomorrow for sure). Otherwise, I fear they'll hit the real seer, know that they've done so, and kill the medium the following night (when the cabalists will learn that the seer is dead and alert us we need a séance). At this point I would prefer to continue to trust Triggercut and not have a séance today.

I'm at a loss. I didn't understand the final blow. I don't understand last night's killing. So I guess we wait for Remus and hope bb2112 wasn't a special role.

I kinda doubt Grundbegriff is evil at this point. I hope to heck Remus scanned someone from the short list. If he did not, I seriously question his credibility.

My project tonight:
1. Figure out at what set of confluent circumstances Team Wolf figured "This is not going so hot for us right now."
2. Figure out if anyone on the possible suspects list dramatically altered their posting habits before and then after this sequence of events.

Consistency in his limited postings. Compare this to the "why me" tone of your posts when a few of us had accused you. A plain villager does not usually show a "why me" tone.

How hard is it to be consistent when you post five times? But as for the "why me?" part, my whole point was just that the people voting for me mostly hadn't given any reason why. Vote rationales are important, because: (1) it makes it marginally harder for wolves to join in a train unnoticed; and (2) after I would come back villager, it would give useful information for the village to process (whereas a rationale-less vote just gives the difficulty to sort out vote pattern info).

The "why me" stuff led me to leave my vote on you, because it became the rationale.
