Just as the topic says.

Could I make a laptop a monitor for my PC? If so, how?

I need to set something up that isn't so space consuming, but only temporarily (So no going out and buying a flat panel).

If your PC is running Windows XP and has Remote Desktop enabled, you can run the Remote Desktop client on the laptop. No gaming or multimedia possible that way, though.

There isn't a simple, easy, cheap way of doing it but it can be done.

Damn, I was hoping I could just get a fancy wire and slap that bitch into them.

I needed it for a speech. I didn't want to lug around a huge CRT monitor if I didn't have to. Oh well.

Why can't you put whatever you need to on the laptop and run it from there??
